deleted app and reinstalled it.. works fine now .. no longer crashes… thanks for the response and a great app...

Recently the app was crashing upon opening. That is fixed. App seems to not have all the current stories that I see on the tv. Or even social media platforms. Or hard to find when in other categories than the main. So not easy to find what I want to see

Useless prior to update. It appears that the issue has been resolved

They fixed the app and it is now working again so it’s a good app.

I can’t open the app. Gets to the page looks like it is trying to open then it just disappears

The new update ruined this app… I hope they fix it soon! It was great before but now I can’t even open the app. I get snippets of the news from the notifications but when u click to read the full story it tries to open the app and then crashes immediately…

Over the past two weeks, every time I click on a news story from my notifications, the app crashes within seconds of opening. It’s beyond frustrating and needs to be fixed

Haven’t been able to read or view stories in past 2 weeks . App keeps crashing and closing up on me . Very disappointing!!

Since this update, the app opens for about three seconds, then abruptly disappears. Not of much use now 😕☹️

Crashes when opening for a few weeks now and still it has not been fixed.

The app no longer works since the update. It does not open. Apparently, I am not the only one experiencing this. A fix is needed.

Please consider a subscription-based option for those of us who do not have Verizon or optimum.

After this update the app won’t load. When I click on a notification, the app tries to open and just shuts down before it loads. Even when I try to click on the app, the stories won’t load. The page just spins and then shuts down.

Whenever I open an article it crash’s. Please fix

I might be silly , but I can’t open it in landscape mode , only portrait. Rather annoying.

All it does is crash.

The most recent update makes the app unusable. It crashes before even opening. Before that its notifications links rarely work, they sometimes try to open in a browser instead of the app, which wants you to login… which is why I have the app. And sometimes the notifications open the app but not to the story mentioned in the notification or sometimes it’ll open the app but not show me the article, but asks me to login, when I’m already logged in, as if I quit the app and reopen the app, I’m logged in, but can’t find the story from the notification. I like News 12 for local Long Island news, but this app leaves a lot to be desired.

Absolutely HORRIBLE again! App crashes more in a 1/2 hour than actual new stories reported. When you kill the app and come back- now you have to watch 30-60 second ads all over again. App just crashed 3rd time in 1/2 hour and I’ve still yet to hear news that concerns me or my family.

Widget is not working. when i click on it, it shows a blank white screen

I have really come to enjoy News 12 and their app. Unfortunately in the last few days I am being redirected to a third party website with a .top domain. As a result I was forced to remove the app from my iPhone. I have contacted News 12 in the hope that they will update the app so I can reinstall in the further.

The last couple of days when I open an article it immediately opens a browser window with the typical your phone has been hacked stuff, this is on iOS

I have news 12 through Xfinity, but I can not log in to the app since it only supports Verizon and Optimum. Please fix for the Xfinity people who rely on this news channel.

The brings me to the login page, and when I type in my screening and password and click submit brings me to a black page with some error message ({"error":"Failed to handle auth"}) and it asked me to download a file which I don’t… (something is fishy). Synacor (33) bits lol 😂

This is the best news app out and I recommend it to anyone who wants to stay informed

I had this app for a while but no matter how many times it updates but it doesn’t always work sometimes it doesn’t work when I am trying to check out the weather it keeps crashing. Sure it’s source of news is great but when checking out the weather I suggest you get another weather app instead.

You are now asked to sign using your internet provider account but it still doesn’t load. Whether you use mobile or the desktop website. Nothing works!

I rely on news 12 storm updates that are live! I can’t get live because you do not lost my carrier Xfinity for south New Jersey. It’s very frustrating since I need to watch from my home computer or phone when taking cover. How can I see live? Or do you need to fix this problem?

Let’s you select region., then crashes and closes app. Just updated new version now, but was also doing with previous , started today. Was fine yesterday

The “LIVE” feature is the only reason I downloaded this App.. And this feature never works !!! It constantly freezes…the worst…
